In 2012, Arjun Bijlani acted in Magic Lantern's telefilm in Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus opposite Neha Janpandit. In the same year, he did a short film, named Full Phuket. Bijlani worked on a few short films, I Guess and Caught in the Web. In I Guess, he played the role of Manav. In Caught in the Web, he played the role of Karan.

Arjun Bijlani appeared in the series Kaali - Ek Punar Avatar opposite Aneri Vajani. Arjun Bijlani played the role of Dev, a police inspector. This series did not receive high TRPs as such but his performance in the show was great.

In the year 2014, Arjun Bijlani also appeared in the Box Cricket League. In 2015, Arjun Bijlani entered the television romantic drama series Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi alongside Radhika Madan and Shakti Arora. He played the role of Shekhar Mehra, a casanova lawyer, yet a positive guy who falls for Ishaani. However, Arjun Bijlani quit the show in August 2015 for Naagin.

Arjun Bijlani starred opposite Mouni Roy in Naagin, where he portrayed the role of Ritik Singh. This show proved to be a turning point in his career and this series also received high TRPs.

Arjun Bijlani has been part of the stunt-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 which was hosted in Cape Town along with Divyanka Tripathi, Varun Sood, Nikki Tamboli, Vishal Aditya Singh, Rahul Vaidya and Shweta Tiwari.
